A letter from our Executive Director
As many of you know, thirty years ago, members of the MU NU Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity headed the call to eliminate the “achievement gap” in Montgomery County.
Led by teacher, administrator and philanthropist George B. Thomas Sr., the Saturday School has grown from 21 children and 19 volunteers in 1986 to a multi-program organization that provides tutoring and mentorship to more than 3,000 students each year.
Today, we are on a mission to raise $30,000 in 30 days in celebration of our 30th Anniversary. Every dollar directly contributes to sustaining a legacy of hope.
Dr. Thomas spent 30 years in the community building this legacy. What will be said 30 years from now?
Please make your gift today!
Sincerely,
Khadija Barkley
Proud Executive Director
