The spring session of STEM Curiosity Academy started February 2nd
Students began working on the engineering projects they will complete during this special 6-week program of Saturday School.
What will students build?
Grades 6-8– Middle school students are focusing this session on Materials Engineering.
They’ll learn to use the Engineering Design Process to design bio-inspired gear to meet specific client needs.
Grades 3-5– Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will design building models to be earthquake resistant.
They will also create building codes, deciding how to plan for building safer structures in earthquakes zones.
