Our Parent Trainings are offered by Saturday School several times each year at each of our 12 center locations.

Parents and families are provided with helpful information, and also learn ways to offer the best possible support for their students.
Topic for this Parent Training:
Strong families support strong students
During this Parent Training, we will discuss the challenges parents and families may have – especially those that can affect their ability to support their students.
Parents will have an opportunity to learn about:
- protective factors that can strengthen families and their social networks
- how to build strong connections to create better support for each other, and for students
- tips and strategies that families can follow
Topics will include: relationships, communication, social connections, and the resilience needed to manage different situations.
This program will be offered at all Saturday School centers, and it will be facilitated by staff from MCPS (Montgomery County Public Schools).
All participants will be encouraged to ask questions and share ideas. Please join us!
